Special Olympics New Jersey provides year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health screenings to thousands of athletes. All of these programs and services are always completely FREE thanks to fundraising events like the Polar Bear Plunge at Wildwood.

About Polar Bear Plunge at Wildwood

Registration Tiers

REGISTRATION TIERS

Early Bear ($100 minimum): September – November 30

Now I’m Ready Bear ($110 minimum): December 1 – December 31

Better Late Than Never Bear ($120 minimum): January 1 – January 12

Almost Missed It Bear ($125): January 13

When you register, there is a $25 registration fee. The good news is that the $25 registration fee counts toward the total fundraising minimum. So, the additional funds you need to raise are in addition to the $25 registration fee.

We encourage you to start your fundraising efforts early, reach out to your network, and raise funds to support our cause. Your contributions will significantly impact the community and those we serve.

Registration Information

Join us on the beach in Wildwood, NJ, as we plunge into the frigid Atlantic Ocean and know that you are supporting thousands of registered Special Olympics New Jersey athletes. Be sure to get dressed up in those costumes, break out the plunge props, and make the banners and signs. Most importantly, have FUN!

Here’s how to get started:

Register online for $25 to get started and set up a customizable fundraising page
The great news is the $25 registration fee counts toward the minimum requirement to plunge. Want to reach the minimum now? You can add an additional donation during the checkout process to get you there.
Once registered, share your fundraising page with family and friends via email and social media. Track donations right from your fundraising page, respond to donors, and monitor fundraising progress as you get closer to your minimum.
